New Official Abu Dhabi Rental Index Helps Tenants Compare Prices and Budget Effectively

The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) has introduced a new online Rental Index, an interactive map designed to provide transparent and government-backed data on average rental prices for residential properties across Abu Dhabi. This tool aims to assist tenants in comparing prices, budgeting, and negotiating rental agreements with greater confidence.

How to Use the Rental Index

Users can access the interactive map by visiting the ADREC website, navigating to ‘Real Estate Market Data’, and selecting ‘Interactive Map’. From there, they can choose the option for average rent prices and pinpoint specific areas of interest on the map. The tool then displays the estimated lower, median, and upper rental values for various property types, including studios, villas, and townhouses within that selected area.

For example, a search for studio rental prices on Saadiyat Island might show a lower rent of AED 62,000, a median rent of AED 67,000, and an upper rent of AED 72,000.
