UAE Developer Arada Launches Dh5 Billion Broadbeach Residential Project in Australia

Dubai-based developer Arada has announced its largest project in Australia to date, a Dh5 billion residential development in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. This marks Arada's first venture outside New South Wales within the Australian market, where it has been active since 2024.

Project Details and Scope

The development comprises twin residential towers, offering a total of 952 homes with a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom residences. The project is strategically located opposite the Gold Coast Convention Centre, providing direct access to the light rail, and is within walking distance of The Star Gold Coast and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.

Designed by Plus Studio, the twin towers will be connected by a landscaped podium, incorporating extensive resident facilities. These amenities include pools, fitness and wellness areas, communal terraces, private dining rooms, a library, lounge, and dedicated work-from-home spaces. Also, approximately 1,200 square metres of ground-floor space is allocated for retail and hospitality tenants.

Construction and Completion Timeline

Construction of the Broadbeach project will be managed by Roberts Co, a tier-one contractor acquired by Arada Group in 2025. This direct control over both development and construction phases is expected to ensure quality, pace, and accountability for buyers, according to Arada's CEO. The development is targeted for completion before the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, aligning with Arada's identification of South East Queensland as a key growth market for its Australian expansion.

This new project significantly expands Arada's Australian footprint, bringing its total pipeline to eight projects and over 5,000 homes across the country.
