Naif Saleh AlHamdan Appointed Managing Director at Emaar EC, Saudi Arabia

Emaar The Economic City (Emaar EC) has announced a leadership change, with CEO Abdulaziz Ibrahim Alnowaiser stepping down from his position on October 31 due to professional commitments. The decision follows a recommendation from the company's Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

In a filing to the Saudi bourse Tadawul, the company confirmed the appointment of Naif Saleh AlHamdan as the new Managing Director, effective November 1. AlHamdan currently serves as Vice Chairman of Emaar EC and Head of the West Coast Portfolio Management Department at the Public Investment Fund (PIF).

AlHamdan brings over 20 years of experience in investment, investment banking, and real estate development. His prior roles include Vice President of Investment Business Development at Sulaiman A. Al Rajhi Real Estate Investment Company, and positions at Global Investment House, Ernst & Young, and SABB Bank. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and an MBA from the University of Wales.
