Minor Hotels to Launch First Purpose-Built Colbert Collection Property on Dubai Islands

Minor Hotels will debut its first purpose-built Colbert Collection property, the Ampersand Beach House, on Dubai Islands in late 2029. This 111-key boutique lifestyle hotel will mark the brand’s entry into Dubai with a focus on intimate, design-forward hospitality.

The Ampersand Beach House is envisioned to offer personalised service, contemporary architecture, and curated lifestyle experiences. It will feature a range of guestrooms and suites, including signature pool terrace suites, along with destination dining venues, rooftop leisure facilities, wellness amenities, and social spaces designed to attract both international travellers and Dubai residents.

The project development will be led by Nouma, with Mimar appointed as the Lead Design Consultant for the architecture and engineering aspects. The interior design will be handled by Sundukovy Sisters Design Studio. Minor Hotels' Chief Operating Officer for the Middle East & Africa, Amir Golbarg, highlighted Dubai Islands as a significant leisure destination and noted that the Ampersand Beach House aligns with the Colbert Collection's vision of distinctive luxury.

Anton Fedun, Financial & Strategic Advisor for Ampersand Beach House, expressed the goal of creating a unique offering in Dubai's hotel scene, moving away from typical bold luxury towards a refined concept of "barefoot luxury" that evokes peace, harmony, and an island holiday experience.
