Legaline Platform Launches AI-Powered Legal Simulator, Meta Legal Space, in Dubai

Legaline Platform, a UAE-based AI legal tech firm, has launched Meta Legal Space, the MENA region's first AI-powered mock trial platform, at the Dubai AI Festival.

Legaline Platform, an AI-native legal platform developed in the UAE, unveiled its new Meta Legal Space at the Dubai AI Festival held on 26 and 27 October 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This innovation marks the MENA region's first AI-powered mock trial simulator, designed to provide law students and legal trainees with a realistic virtual courtroom experience.

How Meta Legal Space Works

The platform allows trainees to argue cases in a customisable virtual courtroom where the judge, clerk, witnesses, and experts are all powered by AI. Opposing counsel can be either AI or a fellow classmate, and the interactions are unscripted, mimicking real-life hearings. Each AI witness possesses a unique background, profession, and manner, with pre-set honesty, reliability, and composure levels that influence their performance during cross-examination. Crucially, each witness withholds a specific fact that trainees must skillfully extract through questioning, ensuring answers remain within the case file.

Customisable Training and Case Library

Before a hearing, users can select the legal format (litigation, arbitration, or mediation) and the legal framework, including UAE onshore, DIFC, or ADGM. Cases are developed by practicing lawyers, not generated from templates, and are rated by difficulty and duration to match the trainee's experience level.

Upon launch, the case library covers:

  • Commercial disputes, such as breach of supply contracts.
  • Civil cases, including construction defects disputes.
  • Labour cases, with an example of an unfair dismissal claim before the DIFC Small Claims Tribunal.

More cases are expected to be added as practitioners contribute material. After each session, trainees receive a performance report assessing their argumentation, procedural compliance, and objection handling skills. A licensed practitioner from the Legaline Platform network can also assume the judge's role to score sessions live.

Meta Legal Space is now available to law schools and legal training providers across the region, with free registration allowing students to access their first case immediately. The platform complements Legaline's existing AI tools, such as the Baby Legal Bot for exploring legal concepts, an AI Research Assistant covering 35 legal areas, and Legaline Docs for drafting contracts and pleadings.
