Indian Cricketer Suryakumar Yadav Buys Luxury Danube Home in Dubai Maritime City

Indian T20 cricket captain Suryakumar Yadav has confirmed his investment in a luxury home at Shahrukhz Residences by Danube in Dubai Maritime City. The waterfront development, inspired by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, marks a significant acquisition for the sportsman.

Yadav shared his excitement on Instagram about joining the residential project. While the specific price of his unit was not disclosed, the original Shahrukhz commercial tower was valued at AED 2.1 billion.

The cricketer cited his connection with Danube Group founder Rizwan Sajan, highlighting their shared Mumbai origins and his trust in the developer as key factors in his decision. Yadav also praised Dubai's lifestyle and appeal, noting its growing popularity among Indian celebrities and investors.

Shahrukhz Residences is Danube's latest collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan, following the successful launch of a commercial tower that sold out on its debut. The residential development in Dubai Maritime City offers fully furnished apartments starting from AED 1.65 million and features over 40 amenities, including a Longevity Lounge, sports facilities, a rooftop King's Club, and private yacht access. Notably, Shah Rukh Khan's wife, interior designer Gauri Khan, designed the penthouses within the project.

Suryakumar Yadav's purchase adds to a trend of Indian sports personalities investing in Dubai's property market, as the city continues to attract international figures.
