Emirates Group Launches Major Recruitment Drive for Over 100 Aviation and Corporate Roles

The Emirates Group has initiated a broad recruitment drive, seeking to fill over 100 positions across its diverse aviation and corporate operations. This initiative targets both experienced professionals and entry-level candidates, with a particular emphasis on attracting and developing Emirati talent.

Vacancies span a wide array of specialisations, including information technology, engineering and maintenance, airport operations, logistics, human resources, and customer service. Interested applicants can find and submit applications directly through the group's official careers portal.

Successful candidates will be offered highly competitive employment packages, which are tailored to the specific role and seniority level. Common benefits across various positions include tax-free salaries, options for furnished accommodation or housing allowances, comprehensive medical insurance, annual flight tickets, and significant travel discounts for both employees and their families, alongside other staff perks.

Lucrative Pilot and Cabin Crew Packages

One of the most attractive roles is that of a pilot, commanding an annual remuneration package valued at approximately Dh1.2 million (around $320,000). This comprehensive package includes an annual cash salary of about Dh575,000, based on an average of 85 flying hours per month. Pilots also receive company-provided housing, education allowances for up to three children, 42 days of annual leave, business-class annual travel for eligible family members, retirement savings contributions, extensive insurance coverage, and eligibility for annual profit-sharing contingent on company performance.

For aspiring aviators, the group continues to recruit for its national cadet pilot programme. Trainees receive a monthly salary of Dh6,365 during ground school and initial flight training, which increases to Dh18,335 during aircraft type-rating training, and further to Dh31,745 during line training. Upon successful completion of the programme, first officers receive a monthly package of around Dh52,000, inclusive of fixed allowances.

Cabin crew members benefit from a tax-free salary comprising a fixed monthly basic pay of Dh4,980, supplemented by flying pay of Dh69.60 per flight hour. With average monthly flying hours, total monthly earnings for cabin crew are approximately Dh11,000. Also, they receive overnight meal allowances, hotel accommodation during layovers, and company-provided transport to and from the airport.
